Map of Recovery Sites

This map is a list of outreach programs organized by their Recovery Units. Recovery Units help to identify priority areas for conservation planning across the snowy plover’s breeding and wintering range.

To find out more about a snowy plover outreach or volunteer program in your area, click on your local Recovery Unit. The map will zoom to that unit and display Plover beach sites by number. (The map may not show all Plover beaches and certain Recovery Units may be incomplete.) Mouse over the numbers to see the beach names.

If a site name has an icon of a brown bird next to it, that site has an outreach program. Click the site number to see more information about the program. If you are interested in contributing, volunteering, or have questions or comments, contact the program using the information shown.
